Matt Wallace
Matt Wallace is an American record producer, mixer, and songwriter whose career spans more than three decades. Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, he began making records in his parents’ garage in the early 1980s before earning his degree from UC Berkeley and pursuing music production full-time.
He has produced or mixed landmark albums for Faith No More, Maroon 5, The Replacements, O.A.R., 3 Doors Down, Hoobastank, Jason Mraz, and Dave Matthews Band, helping define the sound of alternative and modern rock across generations.
Now based in Van Nuys, California, Matt works from his studio, Studio Delux, located in the Sound City Center, where he continues to craft emotionally charged, timeless records. Represented by McDonough Management, Matt remains one of the most versatile and respected producers in contemporary music.
